Last night saw the end of this years Art Basel in Switzerland where upwards of $2 billion worth of art exchanged hands. Among the crowd on the walls was this Gerhard Richter abstract from 1986: A.B. Courbet, which was up for $20 million. Also in attendence was this gem from Rodney Graham: Small Modernist Paintings, 2005.
